We want our community to be involved in as many ways as possible! If you want to be a part of this event, there are many different volunteer roles for you.
Registration: As a Registration volunteer, your job will be to welcome each of the families and check them into our system. You will be the first point of contact for each of the families, so this role is very important to make sure everything runs smoothly. After they’re checked in, you will direct them to where they need to go.
Ministry: Ministry volunteers will be providing the Gospel to the children before they move to the feet washing ceremony. You will be using different resources provided to speak with them, share the love of Christ, and pray with them.
Feet Washing: At this station, you will be washing the feet of the children. This is a wonderful opportunity to show humility while also providing for the children. As they leave, you may be asked to help refill the tubs with water and gather new supplies. Once the child has their feet washed, you will dry them and help them put on their new shoes.
Backpacks/Shoes: You will be in charge of handing the backpacks/shoes to the correct child. Each backpack and pair of shoes are labeled with their name and you are to make sure each child leaves with both. If you choose to help give out shoes, you will be delivering them to the feet washing station after their feet are washed.
Traffic Control/Security: The children and the parents will be in separate rooms for parts of the event so as you will be in charge of making sure everyone is where they need to be. Helping guide the traffic and making sure no child is left alone is very important. We want everyone to feel safe and make sure each child has a wonderful time.
Photographer: You will be tasked with capturing the magic of the event! We want to be able to showcase these pictures on our website, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We want to capture each and every precious moment.
